STAFFING COORDINATOR  – ENTRY LEVEL 

CareerStaff Unlimited, a division of Genesis HealthCare, is looking to add an energetic, positive, and driven Staffing Coordinator to our growing ReadyNurse team in Tampa, FL! This is a great entry level opportunity for applicants interested in beginning a career in Healthcare! This role requires a high attention to detail and organization. Our ideal candidate will be sales/recruiting driven with aspirations to grow. 

POSITION SUMMARY: 
 
This entry level Staffing Coordinator role will be responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting sourcing services to our ReadyNurse team as well as scheduling our current employees with various clients. This individual will perform both conventional and creative sourcing activities from initial sourcing to phone interviews and qualification. A wide degree of creativity, out-of-the-box sourcing strategies and personal organization is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 
  • Assist with the identification and onboarding of field staff
  • Make daily service calls to clients to see if they require staffing assistance
  • Gather and maintain employee availability
  • Proactively backwards market employee availability to clients, in an effort to book shifts / grow business
  • Maintain accurate and the timely updating of client job orders in the database
  • Keep accurate schedules of employees and they’re assigned jobs
  • Assist with after-hours call for the scheduling of employees to fill client job needs (as needed)
  • Process employee compensation for transmission to corporate office
  • Accurately Process weekly payroll
  • All other duties and projects as assigned
 
JOB SKILLS:
 
  1. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management and staff.
  2. Must display a professional approach to communication, customer service, and teamwork, as there is a high degree of interaction with various levels of employees, clients, visitors and outside consultants.
  3. Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office products (WORD, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as applicant tracking software and social media tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.
  4. Ability to establish and achieve sales goals, prioritize and perform multiple functions and tasks. 
  5. Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  6. Excellent customer service skills.
  7. Demonstrates sense of urgency in completing assignments.


SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
  1. Bachelor’s Degree, required. A focus in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Healthcare/Healthcare Administration preferred, but not necessary.
  2. 2 years sales and customer service experience preferred.
  3. Healthcare staffing experience preferred, but not required.
  4. He/she carries out other tasks as requested in situations where hands-on intervention/participation may be required.
